Not really. It’s because of new fglrx you can’t do anything yet. There are related bugs submitted to launchpad already.

Hi egaistek,
I’m very happy I found this blog because I’m going to buy a VGN-FW31ZJ and I was wondering for Ubuntu compatibility.
I know that the most part of hardware works correctly, but I still have a VGN-FS215S (4 years old) and I never make fn-keys works…
For new notebook I would like that everything works fine and I think that with your blog I can obtain that!
Thanks you very much!

Hi,
I’ve upgraded to Ubuntu Karmic alpha 6 and AV Mode key stopped working. S1 key still works.
If there is something I can do to help solve this problem let me know 😛
Everything else seems to work fine.
Thanks a lot for everything on this blog!
P.S.: My vaio model is fw-21j and ubuntu is amd64

I have a Sony VGN FZ21E and the problem is that the external speakers don’t shut completely when I plug in my headphones. Can you tell me how to solve this problem?
